CAN (FD), LIN & UDS control unitDedicated control system for your application
Our OBD controller allows you to operate various vehicle components via On-Board Diagnostics (OBD). This enables components to be tested or set to a desired state during manufacturing. The programming is customised to your application. Benefit from a dedicated device that is easy and intuitive to operate.
- Protocols CAN, CAN-FD, LIN, UDS
- Control interfaces PLC (digital I/O, serial), Ethernet
- User interfaces Buttons, remote control (optional)
- Material Aluminium (IP 64)
- Display LCD (text, backlit)
- Debugging Trace files via USB

Dedicated UDS, LIN & CAN (FD) controllerOperate vehicle components via digital I/Os or Ethernet
Do you want to control vehicle components during manufacturing without dealing with On-Board Diagnostics (OBD) and the related protocols CAN, CAN-FD, LIN, or UDS? Our OBD control device is the perfect solution. As a dedicated unit, it manages the operation of the desired component. You, in turn, can control our UDS, CAN & LIN controller with your PLC or PC using digital I/Os, a serial interface, or Ethernet. Buttons and a remote control can be added for the worker if needed.

Bluetooth versionMore mobility thanks to Bluetooth
Our OBD control device is typically mounted permanently at the manufacturing station, with the connection to the vehicle made through a long OBD cable. If workers need more freedom of movement, we offer a Bluetooth version. Here, the worker simply plugs a Bluetooth adapter into the OBD socket of the vehicle, which communicates wirelessly with the UDS, LIN & CAN-Bus control unit.
Custom firmware for UDS, CAN & LIN controlEmbedded Software tailored to your use case
We program our OBD controller individually, providing you with a compact, dedicated device for your specific application. Unlike universal solutions, the worker doesn’t need to navigate complex interfaces and can achieve results quickly. Also, the price-performance ratio is much better.

Example applicationControl unit for brake filling systems
Our OBD control devices are often used in brake filling systems. One of the associated challenges is that the secondary circuit of the ABS/ESP hydraulic units is separated by closed valves.
Our dedicated control operates these valves and related pumps (if applicable) during filling according to the manufacturer’s specifications (e. g., Bosch, Continental, ZF, or Wabco). This ensures that all circuits can be filled with brake fluid.
Use cases UDS, LIN & CAN-Bus control unitMore application examples
There are no limits to the imagination: Our OBD controller can operate all vehicle components accessible via CAN, CAN-FD, LIN, and UDS through OBD. Common applications include:
Ignition
Simulation of the engine start-stop button via OBD
Window lifter
Operation of all windows, including the sunroof
Front & rear lids
Opening of the engine cover or operation of the trunk lid
Rear spoiler
Operation of a movable rear spoiler
Valves
Operation of various valves, e. g. for filling processes
And much more
Other components that are accessible via CAN, CAN-FD, LIN, and UDS through OBD.
Advantages UDS, LIN & CAN-Bus control systemAll benefits at a glance
Compatible with many components
Our OBD control unit can operate all vehicle components accessible through On-Board Diagnostics (OBD) and the protocols CAN, CAN-FD, LIN, and UDS. Such components include the ignition, windows, sunroofs, engine and trunk lids, spoilers, valves, and more.
Simple integration
Our UDS, LIN & CAN controller can be operated via digital I/Os, serial interfaces, or Ethernet by a programmable logic controller (PLC) or a PC. For you, there is no need to deal with OBD and its related protocols anymore. If required, buttons and a remote control can be added for the worker.
Dedicated solution
We develop the firmware individually for your specific application. As a result, you will get a simple, dedicated solution that workers can operate intuitively and quickly compared to universal solutions.
High cost-efficiency
Unlike complex universal systems, our dedicated UDS, LIN & CAN control systems offer an excellent price-performance ratio.
More mobility with Bluetooth
For applications where workers require more mobility, or where long OBD cables would be an obstacle, we offer a Bluetooth adapter. The adapter connects to the OBD socket of the vehicle and communicates wirelessly with the UDS, CAN & LIN control unit at the manufacturing station.
Simple debugging
The UDS, LIN & CAN-Bus control system saves trace files on an internal SD card. These files can be retrieved using a USB stick. Our support team will gladly assist you with the evaluation and troubleshooting.
Industrial quality
Our UDS, LIN & CAN-Bus controller comes in a robust aluminium housing with IP 64 protection, making it ideal for industrial environments. A backlit LCD display provides instructions and system status information to the worker. The system operates reliably with an extremely low probability of failure.

UDS, CAN & LIN controllerDetailed product description
Our OBD control system comes in a compact, yet robust aluminium housing (IP 64) designed for industrial applications.
The device can be controlled via Ethernet, digital I/Os, and serial interfaces by PLC or PC. Optionally, buttons on the device and a remote control can be added for the worker. A backlit LCD display provides text-based instructions and system status information.
The connection to the vehicle is typically established using a long OBD cable. In the Bluetooth version, the OBD control features a Bluetooth transmitter, and a Bluetooth adapter is used in the vehicle.
Via protocols such as CAN, CAN-FD, LIN, and UDS, a variety of vehicle components can be controlled, including windows, sunroofs, valves, and the ignition.
The UDS, LIN & CAN (FD) controller saves extensive trace files for debugging on an internal SD card (not accessible). These can be retrieved for evaluation using a USB stick. Additionally, firmware updates are possible via the USB port.
Before delivery, devices and software are thoroughly tested with original ECUs. We provide phone support for system commissioning. If necessary, software adjustments can be sent as a file via email to your commissioning technician. On request, we can also travel for commissioning, service assignments, and training.
