Industrial Marking SystemsPZS: Automatic Ink Stamp Marking Machine
The PZS ink stamp machine is an internationally proven industrial marking system that automatically stamps a variety of shapes and characters on different materials.
- Cost-efficient marking solution
- Easy integration
- High reliability

PZS ink marking deviceFlexible use, easy handling & high quality
Our PZS ink marking machines automate manual stamping for both piece and serial production. A start impulse at the marking unit triggers the movement of the stamping arm. By reading the motor current, the electronic controller detects when the stamp contacts the target surface. The arm then returns to its initial position at the ink pad.
- Stamp designs Text, shapes, symbols
- Stamp size Max. 30 mm x 20 mm
- Speed Up to 60 cycles / min
- Interface Relay contact (24 V)
- Housing Aluminium
- Operating life At least 2 million cycles

Model Variety PZS marking systemMultiple stamping directions & solutions for hard-to-reach areas
Whether horizontal, vertical, or inclined – our industrial marking machines catalogue offers a solution for every stamping direction and different operating radii. Also, hard-to-reach areas (e.g., in a recess) can be easily stamped with our automated marking technology.

Flexible industrial marking equipmentWide range of designs and custom stamps
Our PZS ink stamp machines feature interchangeable stamp inserts. Many text and symbol designs, such as week-year combinations or “OK” markings, can be directly ordered from our catalogue. With our VARIO stamp insert, you can create your own sequences of letters and numbers. For more specific requirements like company logos or pictograms, we can produce custom stamp inserts upon request.
Compact marking unitsEasy integration, even into existing applications
Thanks to their space-saving design, our PZS marking systems can be integrated into existing as well as new applications with minimal effort. The high stamping tolerance range eliminates the need for fine adjustments. Enclosures or suction devices are only needed in exceptional cases. A relay contact (24 V) serves as a simple yet efficient interface to initiate the automated stamping process.

MaterialsCompatible with many surfaces
PZS ink marking equipment is compatible with all materials that can be stamped manually. The most common surfaces include:
Metal marking

Our PZS is the perfect metal marking solution. It can be used for various metal marking applications, such as on aluminium, gold, copper, iron, etc.
Ceramic marking

The PZS system can be used as a ceramic stamp marking machine and supports various types of ceramics, including clay, porcelain, glass ceramics, etc.
Plastic marking

PZS systems can be used as a plastic marking machine, whether to mark the product itself or its packaging.
PCB marking

The PZS is the ideal industrial PCB marking machine and can print on solder resist. E. g. for stamping inspection marks or serial numbers.
Applications for our marking machinesTypical use cases
Of course, the PZS marking technology can be used for countless applications. Customers often use the marking devices for:
01

Advantages ink stamp machinesAll benefits at a glance
Cost efficiency
Our PZS marking solutions are ideal for simple marking applications (piece to batch production). Compared to more complex systems like printers, lasers, or labelling machines, it is an easy-to-integrate and cost-efficient solution.
Flexibly deployable
The PZS marking units support a wide range of materials, stamping directions, operating radii, and stamp designs. If our standard product range does not meet your needs, we offer custom solutions.
Easy integration
The compact size of our ink marking devices allows for an easy integration into existing applications. Due to its wide stamping tolerance range, no fine-tuning is required. A relay contact serves as a simple yet efficient interface. Protective enclosures or suction systems are unnecessary in nearly all cases.
Low maintenance
The PZS marking technology is nearly maintenance-free. Only the mechanics may require cleaning, and the ink needs to be refilled, or the ink pad to be replaced as needed.
Unrestricted colour selection
Our ink marking equipment catalogue offers a wide range of colours. Alternatively, you can use your own ink – all components are acid-resistant. Some customers have even applied other liquids like oil.
High quality
Our PZS ink marking systems are internationally proven. They feature a robust aluminium housing built for harsh industrial environments.
High reliability
Our PZS marking unit has an extremely low probability of failure. It is designed for at least 2 million operating cycles, with many customers reporting much longer use.
High safety
The PZS ink stamp machine poses no injury risk. The integrated obstacle detection returns the stamping arm to its starting position upon contact. Additionally, the torque of the motor is very low.
Detailed function descriptionStamping cycle process
The automated stamping process of our PZS ink stamp machines is triggered by a brief start impulse (e. g., an external relay contact). The built-in control electronics monitor the movement by reading the motor current. Obstacles or varying stamping distances are detected by the marking system, and no fine-tuning is necessary within the stamping tolerance range.
When the stamp contacts the target surface, the motor drive is reversed, and the stamping arm returns to its initial position. Once this is reached, the motor current is reduced to a minimum. The resulting contact pressure seals the ink pad holder of the marking device, preventing the ink from drying out.
Due to the limited torque of the motor of the automatic marking machines, there is no risk of injury.
